Regularly connects lecture material to real life problems and policy

In practice

three lectures per week, no lab. Two assignments that require programming in GAMS. A tutorial for GAMS will be provided on Brightspace. Assignments take up a lot of time, so start early enough.

Advice

Whenever example calculations are explained in the lecture, the solutions will NOT be uploaded to Brightspace. Really important to attend lectures and copy down the solutions.
